NO DRINKING AND DRIVING, BE AWARE DRIVEWAYS ARE LONG & STEEP AND THIS DRIVEWAY WILL TAKE ABOUT 10 MIN TO REACH THE HOUSE.
Can we have phones
We are really hoping to pull off an unplugged ceremony, We would like everyone to be as present as possible with no phones till the ceremony ends. Then you are free to take as many photos as you want.
THE GOAL = to not have phones in our photos but instead our friends and families' faces, looking up at us.
My original +1 is not able to make it but I would love to bring my bestfriend / new boyfriend / son / daughter / partner you have never met
Unfortunately, no. We are fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity to hold our wedding at this private home and seating is limited. No Substitutions for Invited Guests. Please note: GUEST LIST IS LIMITED TO INVITED ADULTS ONLY. Thank you.
We can't get a babysitter, can we bring our children if they have something to keep them occupied?
Due to the location of the property, we will not be allowing children to attend outside of the bridal party. There is a steep grade surrounded by natural elements and we would not want anything to happen to anyone's child. No exceptions, please do not ask. Respectfully and with love.
Can we bring our pets?
Lovingly, no. No Pets allowed, no exceptions. Thank you for understanding.
Is there an open bar?
We encourage guests to BYOB, there will not be a bar on site.
Where is the wedding being held?
At a beautiful private home in Murphy, NC within the Blue Ridge mountains.
Is the reception at the same location as the wedding?
Yes, dinner and festivities following the ceremony will also be at the same property.
Do you have a gift registry?
There is not a gift registry, your presence is gift enough. Feel free to bring a card for the bride and groom
The dress I have looks best with heels, can I wear them?
We respectfully ask that you please do not wear heels; this is to ensure the preservation of the grounds as much as possible. Please wear sandals or flats.
Will this wedding be outside?
Yes, from start to finish we look forward to sharing this beautiful mountain view from every angle. Rain or Shine.
Is there cell service?
This beautiful, secluded getaway has spotty cell service and since it is in the mountains, we cannot guarantee 100% cell reception.
Can I make a speech?
There will be no speeches but instead a Speech Drawing.
If you are interested in giving a speech we highly encourage you to write down your love, thoughts, and prayers in a card for the bride and groom. Drawing winners may then read their speech out loud.
Can I wear white?
ABSOLUTELY TF NOT! but seriously, no... thank you. :)
